I bought a dress around a month ago (does the return policy expire?) and can’t find the receipt…I was told that I could get store credit and am wondering if I can get something from the makeup counter or if it has to be another dress or clothes from Macy’s?

   Yup. It’s store credit, not department credit.

   And the return time is generally a set date, so I would get on that before it does expire.

   Once you return something and get store credit, you can use the store credit for anything that you want in the store.

   You can use store credit in any department, however, I think the return deadline is 30 days.
