What should I expect at my full time position at Macy’s Junior’s department?

Hi everyone, I haven’t finished by CBT courses just yet nor my shadowing. I should be starting soon. I would like to hear from FORMER or CURRENT Macy’s employees. What should I expect? Any words of wisdom, what to watch out for, how can I perform by best.
Even how can I speed the promotion process. I heard of a girl starting seasonal last december and is now an assistant manager.
I already have a bachelor’s degree.
